Contract and Tort Law

If someone has failed to fulfill an agreement they made with you in the form of a contract, you could have the right to legally enforce it by compelling them to perform what was promised, or provide compensation for damages caused by breaching said contract.

What You Should Know About Enforceable Contracts

Many people aren’t aware that an enforceable contract isn’t always required to be in written form. In reality, a contract is defined as any legally enforceable agreement, which includes a verbal agreement. There are three parts a contract must have to be considered valid: an offer, acceptance of the offer, and consideration. However, not all agreements supported by an offer, acceptance, and consideration will be enforceable. There are several other rules that determine what validate any form of contract.
